Through the course of your business day, special circumstances can arise for certain customers and sales situations. In cases where one customer wishes to pay for the services received by another customer (Example: mother and daughter getting separate services), it’s critical for your point of sale to have the functionality to handle multiple tickets with ease. Ringing out multiple guests under a single ticket can be challenging for many point of sale systems. But, the process is fast and simple with SuperSalon salon management software.
This article will take you through the step-by-step procedure for processing multi-ticket sales in SuperSalon’s point of sale.
Step One
From the Sales screen, select the main ticket to which the others will be attached. Move the ticket into the Checkout screen by using the right-facing arrow, shown below.
Step Two
From the Checkout screen, select the Add Ticket button from the bottom array.
Step Three
Select the next ticket to be attached to this one. Our example shows only one additional ticket. However, more than one ticket can be added at this stage of the process.
Step Four
With the other ticket successfully attached to the primary ticket, you are now able to ring out through the final settlement process of the payment screen. Additionally, you can also place the ticket back into servicing. This allows service times to continue to be tabulated for this sale. When servicing is complete, the ticket can be rung out normally.
Step Five
When the primary ticket has been settled, all others in the multi-ticket will bear a prepaid status on their ticket display. When the attached tickets are ready to be finalized, simply click or tap the gray flag icon, shown below.
As with all processes in SuperSalon, we’ve developed the multi-ticket feature to be as streamlined and intuitive as possible. By doing so, the checkout process on multi-tickets is faster and calculations for tips and products are seamless.
