2015 was a year of changes for Rogers Software Development and we are looking forward to our best year yet in 2016. In December, Rogers was acquired by ProPoint Solutions, LLC, a holding company backed by a seasoned team of investors. As part of this acquisition, we announced our new CEO, Raj Mahajan, who brings an impressive career catalog and professional experience to Rogers.
Raj will help lead the Rogers team in new directions that will provide an enhanced customer experience, including continual product improvement and increased customer satisfaction. “I’m excited about the new opportunities on our horizon and about working with the experienced and dedicated team at Rogers,” says Raj. “We strive to further our position as the gold standard for our customers. Our primary goals are supporting our customers’ needs and delivering competitive advantages for them in their respective markets. We are excited to announce the release of SuperSalon 5.8, a release that includes a newly designed Appointment Book, Timeclock screen, Payment screen and brand new navigation and themes.
Our improvements to the Appointment Book include the ability to zoom the view in out, allowing you to see a more complete picture of the day’s activities. The new layout of the Appointment Book also allows for more columns to show from left to right. All of the calendar page buttons have been relocated to the bottom of the page, giving a cleaner design that keeps you focused.
The new Timeclock is now a popup. This enables you to access the Timeclock from any screen in SuperSalon without losing your place.
New Navigation and Themes
We’ve introduced a new NAV button as an alternative way to navigate through SuperSalon. Using it, you can access most of SuperSalon’s features in a convenient popup window.
Adding a Theming option to SuperSalon allows you the choice of several colors schemes to match your brand colors and make SuperSalon unique to your business.

In 2015, Rogers welcomed Elo as an integration partner for touch screen displays and more. Elo’s product line features impressive tablet, desktop and integrated solutions for point of sale and display marketing. Elo’s X-Series and PayPoint POS kiosks offer cost-effective yet high-tech and easily integrated solutions for your salon. Their digital signage offerings make an excellent complement for engaging your customers and pushing your brand and marketing message in your place of business. As part of our redesign of the iOffice customer portal, we’ve made it even easier for you to find tutorial content and video tips for learning SuperSalon and iOffice. In 2016, you can look forward to even more learning content, based on customer requests and feedback we’ve received throughout the year.
Your iOffice portal now features weekly tutorial posts, video tips and links to SuperSalon and iOffice documentation such as user manuals and guides. By publishing these learning tools directly to the iOffice portal, we hope to make using SuperSalon easier and keep everything you need to do so all in one place. And, as always, iOffice serves up the reporting and management tools you need to keep your business running smoothly.
