With so many different business models in the salon industry, it is a constant challenge to ensure that our offerings can accommodate them all. The flexibility of our software allows business owners to configure their salon Services to carry different prices depending on the staff member who is performing them. This is the Price Groups feature of SuperSalon, and this article will go over their creation and how to assign them to each employee.
Creating a Price Group
Step 1: Starting in the Services submenu, select the “Price Groups” button located in the upper array.
Step 2: Our demo salon does not yet have any Price Groups established, to add one click or tap on the “Add Price Groups” button.
Step 3: Now use the “Add Group” button, as shown in the illustrated example below.
Step 4: Establish a new name for the Price Group, and also a unique code, and then click or tap on the “Save” button.
The new Price Group will then be available in the Price Groups Menu of the Services submenu, as shown in the image below.
Setting up an Employee with a Price Group
Step 1: From the Employees submenu of the Manager menu, choose the staff member who will be assigned to the new Price Group, and click or tap on the “Price Group” button, as shown below.
Step 2: Then select the Price Group that will be attached to this Employees profile.
Step 3: The new Price Group is assigned to this employee, so the next step is to click or tap on the “Save” button.
With that our demo salon now has one employee assigned to this Price Group, as shown in the Price Groups Menu below.
