Editing an Employee Time Card in SuperSalon

SuperSalon’s vast array of features and user-friendly interface make daily tasks quick and easy. However, human error can, at times, create unexpected issues that require your manager’s attention. An example of this is when employees forget to punch in or out for their shifts and breaks. Luckily, SuperSalon’s POS gives you an easy way to correct these errors and keep your reporting accurate.

SuperSalon already makes it difficult for a missing punch to go unnoticed with its Time Card Report feature. This report displays a red stripe across the row representing the day as seen below.

After determining that there are missing punches, simply click the blue link that corresponds to the date of the missing punch. This takes you to the interface shown below where you can edit almost any data entry on the employee’s time card.

To correct this employee’s missing punch for the day, simple click the EDIT button at the end of the IN or OUT rows in the upper section of the interface. For an employee who forgot to clock both in and out, it’s also possible to make corrections here. Clicking the EDIT button will take you to a text field where you can not input the correct date. Clicking SAVE will lock the changes into SuperSalon and the Time Card Report will no longer display the red error stripe.

From this interface, you are also able to add any other adjustments to the time clock — such as holiday or vacation time or even flat bonuses for additional work. With all of these tools and options available, SuperSalon makes almost any payroll task simple.
